John Novak

Director of Computer Vision

John Novak is Rapid's director of Computer Vision. He earned his PhD in Experimental Nuclear Physics at Michigan State University before joining the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission where he led development of their data science and analytics platform as part of the Quantitative Analytics group. In addition to his work in data science and computer vision, he has done work in quantum computing and co-authored "Leveraging Adiabatic Quantum Computation for Election Forecasting," simulating the outcome of the 2016 presidential election on a D-Wave 2 quantum annealer.
